Cullman EMS to host 5th annual 911 Chili Supper & Cook Off

Cullman Regional’s Cullman EMS is hosting its 5th Annual 911 Chili Supper & Cook-Off on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Cullman First Baptist Church with all proceeds benefitting Curt’s Closet of Cullman. The cook-off competition is open to all law enforcement, firefighters, EMA, EMS personnel and dispatchers.

The chili supper is open to the public for a $5 donation per person. Community members are encouraged to attend and vote for their favorite chili. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded by popular vote from the community, as well as the award for Hottest Chili. Attendees will also have a chance to win door prizes and listen to live music.

“This event is a time where those who serve their community come together for some friendly competition,” Curtis said. “It’s a great way for us to be able to meet the people of the community we serve, as well as an opportunity to give back to our community.”

The 911 Chili Supper & Cook-Off will take place at Cullman First Baptist Church, 501 2nd Avenue SW. For more information or to register your team, contact James Curtis at 205-903-4486 or email at james.curtis@cullmanregional.com.
