Broadway duo Two on Tap to perform

A new season of performing arts magic kicks off this Monday when the Cullman Community Concert Association hosts the first show of its young 2017-2018 concert calendar.

Broadway veterans Melissa Giattino and Ron DeStefano form the two-person variety act known as Two on Tap — a dancing duo who bring gorgeous vocals, energetic choreography and unique musical arrangements to an act that’s been touring nationally since 2010.

Two on Tap will take the stage at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2 at the Betty Leeth Haynes Theatre on the campus of Wallace State Community College.

Two On Tap marks a creative collaboration between Giattino and DeStefano, both of whom have extensive backgrounds on Broadway. Since debuting in February of 2010, the duo has entertained tens of thousands at theatrical concerts and gala events across the U.S., and also has enjoyed headliner status aboard luxury cruise liners.

Praised by presenters and critics alike, Two On Tap breathes new life into traditional song-and-dance pieces with clever arrangements, a meaningful connection to the audience, and fast-paced routines that feature timeless Broadway show tunes presented in a wholly original way.

Single tickets for Monday’s show will be available at the door for $30 (adults); admission for students is free when accompanied by a paid adult.

The concert also will feature a special performance by Ron, Melissa and local students from Factory Dance Productions.

Since 1949, the Cullman Community Concert Association has been committed to bringing a wide variety of world-class entertainment in the fine and performing arts to the Cullman community — at a community-friendly price.
