News briefs: Dallas Brass to perform at Corner High

The Dallas Brass will hold a show at the Corner High School fine arts auditorium on Oct. 24 at 7 p.m.

The ensemble has performed in places such as Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Moscow, Tokyo, Rome and concert halls across the United States. Their music includes classical masterpieces, dixieland, swing, Broadway, Hollywood and patriotic selections.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and may be purchased in the bandroom or at the door.

The Corner High School band will perform with the Dallas Brass during the concert.

Prior to the concert, the Corner High School Band Boosters is hosting a spaghetti dinner, 5-6:30 p.m., in the Corner Cafe. Plates are $5. See any band student for tickets.
