Two killed in wreck on County Road 109
Two people are dead after a wreck on County Road 109 earlier today, according Alabama State Trooper reports.
Troopers are investigating the wreck that was reported at about 9:10 a.m., but they did not have the victims’ names available Thursday evening.
A vehicle drove off the road, hit a tree and caught fire, killing the two occupants inside. The road had to be closed to allow firefighters to extinguish a fire and clear the scene.
The bodies will be identified by the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences.
