- West Point quarterback Hunter Hensley looks to pass against Ramsay at Legion Field.
West Point’s season ended Thursday night following a 50-0 loss to No. 2 Ramsay in the opening round of the Class 5A playoffs.
The defending state champion Rams (9-2) seized control early at Legion Field, storming to a 28-0 lead by the end of the first quarter after scoring in all three phases.
West Point, which finished 5-6, will enter the offseason in search of a new head coach.
Don Farley, who amassed a 54-62 record and guided the Warriors to six playoff berths in 11 campaigns, announced in October he would step down at the end of the season.
