Cullman’s varsity boys cross country team recorded a perfect score en route to a meet victory over Hartselle on Thursday.

Andrue Barnett finished first at the Palomino RV Resort with a speedy time of 16:59.74, while Cadan Fales (17:38.50), Connor Robinson (17:47.23), Cyrus Dawsey (17:52.81) and David Manashirov (17:55.87) rounded out the top five to help the Bearcats race past the Tigers at Burrow-Hamilton Farm. Additionally, the Black and Gold placed 18 of the top 20 runners.

Cullman’s girls, meanwhile, fell to Hartselle by a single point.

Mabry Free (second — 19:58.25), Addison Vogelaar (third — 21:32.97), Khloe Nalley (fourth — 22:37.56), Katie Richter (ninth — 23:50.04) and Audrey Floyd (10th — 23:58.34) provided the counting times.
