LOCAL SPORTS: Cullman Swim Team holds year-end banquet

- High-point winners and runners-up (left) and the Pilcher family (right) were among those recognized at Cullman Swim Team's year-end banquet Thursday night.
Cullman Swim Team held its year-end banquet Thursday at St. John’s Evangelical Protestant Church. All swimmers, divers, volunteers and coaches were recognized for their hard work and efforts to create a successful season.
Outgoing swimmer Eric Pilcher and his parents, Claire (Overall Awesome Mom and volunteer) and Glenn (Overall Awesome Dad, coach and volunteer), were recognized for their years of dedication to the team.
Luke Johnson and Jaedyn Martin were honored as the boys and girls high-point winners. Sawyer Trimble and Sarah Peel also received hardware as respective runners-up.
