Update: Police identify suspect in triple homicide, remains at large

- Gardendale Police Department is looking for Kenneth Dion Lever, 51, a white male 5'10", 220, blue eyes, brown hair. If you see this individual do not approach and call 9-1-1. He is considered armed and dangerous.
Gardendale Police are searching for a suspect who has killed 3 people in Peachtree Crossings this morning.
Lt. Scott Banks said police are searching for a gunman who is considered armed and dangerous and urged people in the community to remain inside with their doors locked and to alert police of anyone or anything suspicious.
Banks also said that residents should not open their doors to anyone other than police (who should show identification).
It is currently an active scene and police ask that people avoid the area of Willow Bend Drive.
Police have not released an identity for the victims or the suspect but did say they do not believe it was a random crime and that the victims and suspect knew each other. The victims appear to have been residents in the mobile home park, according to Banks.
Anyone with information or who sees anything suspicious should alert police calling 911 or 631-8787.
