Kairos Kafe headed to Gardendale

- Kairos Kafe owner and operator James Jones works on one of his signature dishes at the restaurant. He plans to open a second Kairos Kafe location in Gardendale within the year. The restaurant serves a cross between southern inspired cooking and Greek and Italian cuisine.
The owner of Kairos Kafe in Birmingham is considering branching out to Gardendale.
The decision came after a flurry of support for Gardendale on the restaurant’s Facebook page. James Jones, the restaurant’s owner and operator, is currently looking at several locations in the city; the most promising seems to be the former China Garden location on Odum Road.
Kairos Kafe’s menu is a blend of Greek and Italian with southern influences. After the location is chosen, the restaurant could open in a matter of months.
