WEST POINT — It’s been a long time coming, and now that it’s here, officials want to show it off.
Beginning at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, the town of West Point will host an open house at the new fire station on Alabama 157.
The West Point Fire Department will have displays and door prizes for children. A ribbon cutting and opening ceremonies will begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by a free lunch for the community.
Mayor Kenneth Kilgo invites the public to come out and see the beautiful new facility and express thanks to the fire department.
