Trunk or treat: Cullman Regional kicks off slate of Halloween events today

Everything sweet and a little bit spooky kicks off today for the Halloween season.

Cullman Regional’s 4th annual Trunk of Treat event is first in the lineup for families who want to fill their sacks with candy and learn more about health care services.

Rain or shine, the event will go on as scheduled from 4-7 p.m. on the hospital grounds.

Free food, games, candy, bounce houses, Kona Ice and more are planned for the event. If it does not rain, free health screenings will also be offered. 

A full slate of trunk or treat events also get underway Saturday, running through Halloween. The schedule includes:

Saturday

Smith Lake Park Tricks and Treats in the Park. 5-8 p.m.

Free Fall Festival, East Side Baptist Church, 2-5 p.m. at 1111 3rd St. SE, Cullman.

Legacy Realty Group 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat, 6-8 p.m., 1844 2nd Avenue NW, Cullman

5th Annual Easy Pickens Antique Market Halloween Trunk or Treat, 5-7 p.m., 6474 County Road 222, Cullman.

Sunday

Good Hope Baptist Church Trunk or Treat, 4-5:30 p.m., 90 Good Hope School Road.

Halloween Fall Festival/Trunk or Treat, Holiday Inn Express & Suites, 5 p.m., 2052 Hayes Drive SW, Cullman

Family Fall Fest, Sardis Baptist Church, 4-7 p.m. 6645 County Road 813

Trunk or Treat, Northbrook Baptist Church, 4-6 p.m., 3691 Alabama 157

Trunk or Treat at First United Methodist Church of Cullman, 4- 6 p.m., 320 3rd St., SE, Cullman.

Halloween, Oct. 31

First Fest at Cullman First Baptist Church, 6-8 p.m., 501 2nd Avenue SW, Cullman

Trick or Treat at James R. Smith Trucking Co., 12-5 p.m., 240 County Road 222.

Light the Night at Church of the Well, 6-8:30 p.m., 708 9th St. SE, Cullman.
