After supplies at the Cullman Caring for Kids Food Bank dipped dangerously low last week, Publix Charities made a special $20,000 donation to the food bank on Wednesday.
Along with the monetary donation, Publix also donated around 10,000 pounds of food to the food bank as part of their spring food drive that they hold every year.
Cullman Caring for Kids Executive Director Javon Daniel said the food bank’s partnership with Publix has always been strong, and thanked the store for their donation.
“We can’t say enough about Publix Super Markets and their charity,” Daniel said. “Without them we couldn’t give as much as we do to the community.
