This is the ninth year for Rock the South since its inception in 2012, and festival founder and owner Shane Quick said he knew that this year had to be huge.

“Fans loved when Eric Church was with us a couple of years ago and our social channels have been blowing up with requests for Luke Combs. I’m excited to be able to have these two incredible artists on the Rock the South stage in Cullman this May,” he said in a press release.

Continuing in its mission to serve local businesses and give back to the community, Rock the South will be partnering with several local charities again in 2020 as well as participating in philanthropic events around the area and increasing its grass roots level marketing within the Cullman City and Cullman County School Systems.

Nathan Baugh, producer of Rock the South, said he is proud of the growth Rock the South has seen through the years with community involvement and he is excited to see this growth continue into 2020.

“It’s always a special thing when you can not only host an event where the community can come together and celebrate the recovery from the 2011 tornadoes, but also raise money for local causes in need while doing it is huge,” he said.

Since its inception, the festival has continued to be a community partner by giving back more than $300,000 to local charities including The Link, Alabama Forever, Brook’s Place and Children’s Hospital of Alabama.

Tickets for Pepsi Rock the South will open on Friday, Feb. 7 for the Super Fan Pre-Sale through Feb. 9. Ticket buyers can save up to $70 on tickets during the pre-sale.
