- Members of the Good Hope archery team get in a few last shots of target practice after school in this Times file photo from 2014. At the state championship, the archers were scored on three flights (five arrows) from two different distances.
Cullman City Parks and Recreation will host a 3D and NASP archery tournament from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Cullman Civic Center.
The entry fee is $10 for the NASP shoot, $10/3D shoot or $15 for both.
Flights are held every hour for the NASP shoot, so archers should arrive 15-20 minutes early for desired time in order to get registered/ready.
The 3D range is one for shooting anytime from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with no assigned flight times.
Fifty percent of entry fees will be given back as prize money, as well as medals to top 3 archers in each category: elementary, middle and high school; and adult archers for the NASP and 3D shoots.
