Santa Claus made a surprise visit Sunday at the Cullman Elks lodge to greet 162 children in preparation for Christmas.

Each child received gifts during the visit from Santa, as well as enjoyed pizza, cookies and sodas during the afternoon event. Children, 162 in all, from Head Start at Cullman, Harmony, Vinemont and Garden City were on hand for the fun.
