After an extensive renovation and additions, Colby Sandlin, whose family has owned the popular business since 1986, said everything from bowling to dining will be a more entertaining experience.

“We’ve added a full restaurant for our customers, along with a bar and arcade,” Sandlin said. “We also have 24 lanes for bowling and room for more leagues to form. We think everyone will enjoy the improvements. It’s just an overall more exciting experience when you walk in the door.”

The restaurant, named Valley Tavern & Grill, will be open for lunch and dinner and offer a wide range of food choices, he said.

The bowling center’s bar will also feature 30 new televisions for watching games, as well as a patio four customers to enjoy a break from bowling or playing arcade games.

A push is also on to have more women bowling teams, or mixed teams at the center. The hours for the bowling center are 10 a.m.-11 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m.-1 a.m., Friday and Saturday; and 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Sunday.

The grand re-opening starts at 5 p.m. and will include some giveaways. Live music will begin at 7 p.m.
