District Judge Kim Chaney and the Cullman Children’s Policy Council was awarded the 2019 Award of Excellence at the annual Children’s Policy Council Conference in Montgomery recently. The award is for going over and beyond the call of duty for children and families in Cullman County. The Cullman County Children’s Policy Council was one of nine counties in the State of Alabama to receive this special recognition.

“I am very proud that our local Children’s Policy Council was selected to receive this recognition and I would like to thank all the members of the Cullman Children’s Policy Council for working with the Juvenile Court to help identify and address the issues that threaten the health and sag of our children and families,” said Chaney
