A prepared statement from the Cullman County School Board states it has taken steps to keep the enrollment in the schools more evenly balanced and in keeping with the capacities at each building. The boundary line map for Cullman County Schools is located at http://www.ccboe.org/dbl.
The current district and school boundary line policy has been in place for years, but not enforced until now.
The statement goes on to say that any student currently enrolled (except pre-K programs) residing out of the school boundary line can choose to remain in that school. Any sibling of a current enrolled student will need to attend the school in which their parents or legal guardians reside.
Transfers will be considered on a case-by-case basis following board policy. All written requests should be mailed to 402 Arnold St NE, PO Box 1590, Cullman, AL, 35056, or use the online form at http://www.ccboe.org/transfer-request.
Currently enrolled students who reside out of Cullman County may continue to attend the school in which they are currently enrolled. However, any siblings of the currently enrolled student who reside out of Cullman County will not be granted the option to enroll.
