Missing persons to be recognized Saturday

Family and friends of Tabitha Franklin will be hosting an event in conjunction with the Cue Center for Missing Persons “On The Road To Remember National Tour 2011″on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011 at 4:30 p.m. at Smith Lake Park.
Tabitha Franklin, 29, of Cullman — has been missing since Aug. 8, 2009. She has blond hair, is 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds. Reports indicate Tabitha was traveling to Hueytown at the time of her disappearance to meet with family, though she never arrived.
According to the CUE website, the annual tour was created to generate new interest in cold cases of missing people across the nation.
