Funeral services for Evelyn Tanner, 87, of Pinson (formerly of Holly Pond), will be Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. at Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Van Lockridge and Vince Whittington officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Pond Funeral Cemetery.

Holly Pond Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Ms. Tanner died Nov. 16, 2007 at Alabama Living Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Harbison and Dovy Key Harbison, and her husband Theron Tanner.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Glencoe.

Ms. Tanner is survived by her daughter Connie (Ron) Burleson of Pinson; granddaughters Becky (Tommy) LaRue, Julie (James) Talton; and great-grandchildren Abbie Talton, Audrey Talton and Brody LaRue.

Pallbearers will be Tommy LaRue, James Talton, Tony Burleson, Jim Burleson, Eon McElveen and Kenneth Laughlin.

Visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 18 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
