Good Hope’s Landon Bagwell (Defensive MVP) and Alan Scott (Coach of the Year) highlighted this year’s Class 4A All-Region 5 Team — selected and announced by its coaches this week.

Bagwell racked up 114 solo tackles, 55 assisted tackles, 27.5 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks this past season for a Raiders defense that allowed just 14 points per game.

Scott, meanwhile, guided Good Hope to its first region title since 2007. The Raiders finished 10-2 and advanced to the second round of the playoffs. 

Tyler Cone (QB), Carter Rutherford (WR), Tucker Screws (TE), Jathan Smith (OL), Eli Drake (OL), Robert Rodriguez (K), Callahan Lindsey (DL), Mason Drake (LB), Hank Hudson (LB), Cody Stevens (LB) and Tyler Byrd (DB) also made the All-Region Team at their respective positions.
