In case of an emergency, administration at the new campus will call the Warrior Police Department’s dispatch office directly instead of calling 9-1-1. Warrior police or fire department personnel will then immediately contact the Kimberly Police Department.

Warrior is the closest municipality to the two schools with full-time fire department personnel and trained paramedics. Aside from paid police staff, all of Kimberly’s emergency personnel are volunteers.

Harris said several local authority figures, including Kimberly Police Sergeant Bill Isbell, North Jefferson Middle School principal Mary Beth Blankenship, Morris Police Chief Bryan Cochran and others, met at Warrior City Hall to discuss developing the emergency plan “flowchart.”
