Flea Market and Craft Show

Oct. 27 There will be a community flea market and craft show on Oct. 27 at 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Gardendale-Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church. Booth space is available. Call 631-7631 for more info.



Fall festival

Oct. 28 The Gardendale Church of the Nazarene will host a fall festival on Oct. 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. The festival will feature a rodeo, games, food and pony rides. This event is free to the public. For more information call 631-5452 ext 212.



Youth Fun Night

Oct. 27 Youth fun evening will be Saturday, Oct. 27 at 5 p.m. at Friendship United Methodist Church. There will be food and drinks provided by the church. There will also be rides and trick or treat for children. Call 531-3652 or 647-2442 for more information.



Quilt Show

Nov. 28 The North Jefferson Quilter’s Guild will present its 28th Annual Quilt Show Friday and Saturday, November 9 and 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Mt. Olive Community Center. The quilt show will be held in both the new and old building. The buildings are adjacent to one another. Admission cost is $3. All proceeds benefit the Mt. Olive Community Center. Carnival

Oct. 31 The Church Revived will host a fall carnival on Oct. 31 from 6 until 8:30 p.m. There will be plenty of fun for everyone with free food and booths for kids of all ages. For more information call the church at631-4404.



Sweets and Treats

Oct. 31 Central Baptist Church will sponsor Sweets ‘n Treats on Oct. 31 from 6 – 8 p.m. Come for food, games, candy and fun. We are located on

Christmas Craft Show

Nov. 9, 10 The north arts council is having their annual 2007 Christmas craft show at the Gardendale Civic Center. It will be Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Nov. 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come and have your picture taken with Santa. Door prizes and free parking. Tasting Luncheon

Oct. 28 There will be a homecoming on Oct. 28 at Faith Tabernacle located behind Mortimer Jordan High School starting at 10 a.m. Guest preacher will be Roland Foster from Columbiana, and the Victory Singers from Tennessee will sing. Trunk or Treats

Oct. 31 Morris United Methodist Church is sponsoring a trunk or treat on Oct. 31 at 5:30 p.m. and lasting till 7 p.m. From 7 to 9 p.m. the MUMC Youth will be hosting a Halloween party for youth in grades 6-12 in the fellowship hall. There will be snacks and drinks plus there will be a Dance Dance Revolution contest and a costume contest. Please use good judgment on your costumes.
