Ivey–Basch

Gregory and Pam Ivey of Cullman announce the engagement of their daughter, Adriann Kathleen Ivey, to Nathan Basch, son of Ralph and Melody Basch of Cullman.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of JoAnn Ivey of Cullman and the late Billy Ivey, Joseph Afonso of Murphy, N.C., and the late Nell Afonso.

Ms. Ivey is a graduate of Vinemont High School and Wallace State Community College, where she received an associate’s degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse currently employed as a perioperative nurse with Woodland Medical Center’s Surgery.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Bob and Ellen Carroll of Cullman, Earnie and Betty Haynes of Hanceville and the late Ralph and Irene Basch.

Mr. Basch is a graduate of Cullman High School and Wallace State Community College, where he earned an associate’s degree in drafting and design. He is also attended Wallace’s School of Aviation. He is presently employed with Basch Brothers Powersports in Cullman.

The wedding is planned for 4 p.m. Oct. 6, 2007, at the Blount County Farmhouse in Hayden.
