Gardendale teen arrested for trying to steal school bus

A teenager has been arrested on charges of stealing a school bus.
The Gardendale Police Department arrested Michael Belcher, 18, of Gardendale on charges of theft of property first degree. Belcher allegedly took a school bus that was parked on the grounds of Gardendale High School, according to Gardendale Police Lt. Bryan Lynch.
Belcher was transferred to the Jefferson County Jail with a bond of $17,000.
