Work continues on resurfacing sections of Fieldstown Road west of Interstate 65 in Gardendale.

The repaving begins just west of Thompson Street, near the Cracker Barrel Restaurant entrance. The work has the road narrowed down to one lane, slowing traffic considerably through the area.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes, such as Shady Grove Road or New Found Road.
