She has left a loving husband of 67 years, J. L. McCreless, daughters Connie McCreless and Teresa (McCreless) Riddlesperger (Johnny Lee Riddlesperger) and son Marcus Aaron McCreless (Renee Sanders McCreless); four grandchildren Amy (Riddlesperger) McCarty, Steve Riddlesperger, Keri (McCreless) Harden (Luke Harden) and Casey Riddlesperger; and four great-grandchildren Faith McCarty, Clay McCarty, Brodie Riddlesperger and Reily Riddlesperger.  She is also survived by one sibling Vernett (McCarter) Sherron.

Mrs. McCreless was a good Christian woman with more friends than she could count, among those are her friends at Fultondale First Baptist Church, which she attended for over 40 years. Her time was spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, working in her yard and taking care of family and friends.

The family wants to thank all for the prayers and support we have received from family members, friends and our special friends we have made at AlaCare Home Health Care and AlaCare Hospice. We were also blessed with the love and support of a group of women who started out as sitters and became family.

Services will be held at Walker Chapel Memorial Gardens in Fultondale on Thursday, May 30 at 2 p.m. with visitation at 1 p.m.
