The American Cancer Society will host a luncheon on Tuesday, August 13 to spread the word about a major study.

The “Lunch and Learn” session is intended to inform about the society’s Cancer Prevention Study-3, a nationwide medical study of at least 300,000 people of all ethnicities and backgrounds.

The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. and will be held at the Gardendale Civic Center’s Magnolia Room.
