Clement “Ray” Hambric, born October 3, 1955, went to be with the Lord on December 28, 2013, after a brave battle with cancer.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He retired from General Electric after 31 years of service. He loved to spend time with family and friends hunting, fishing and playing golf. He was a member of the North Gardendale Church of Christ where he served as an Elder.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Janice Hambric, children Candice (Shane) Stanford, Clint (Cori) Hambric; two grandchildren Jackson and Sophie Stanford; mother, Mattilene Hambric; sister Jackie (Benny) Vaughn; brother, Jeff (Kristy) Hambric; and several nieces and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Hambric.

A visitation was be held at The New Gardendale Funeral Home. The service will be Monday, December 30 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of The New Gardendale Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
