Another big night for Zach Jackson, as he had 26 points and 10 rebounds to lead Pinson Valley past Westbrook Christian 52-42 in Thursday’s first round of the WQSB Christmas Tournament at Albertville High.

Colin Edwards scored 20 points and Noah Hunt 10 for the Lions, ranked sixth in Class 2A statewide.

The Indians play Guntersville in the second round Friday at 4 p.m.
