Marie G. Freeman, 87of Gardendale, passed away April 13, 2013.

She was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church and a graduate of Cullman High School.  

Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by her parents, John B. and Lillie Gray; brothers, John Bernard Gray and Donald Gray and sister, Mary Emma Perdue.  

She is survived by her husband, Junior H. Freeman; son, Dennis (Lynda) Freeman; grandchildren, Christopher Freeman and Michelle Hinton; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Heinl and Bertie Lou Perdue; brother, Jerry Gray.  

Visitation will be Monday, April 15, between 6 and 8 p.m. at The New Gardendale Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Tuesday, April 16, at 11 a.m. at The New Gardendale Funeral Home with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
