Teachers’ antics raise funds for school

- Snow Rogers Elementary School teacher Paige Sciara gets her face painted by students Friday during an assembly, which led up to the school’s fall festival Friday night. Students also sold tickets to see teachers get pies in their faces, sprayed with Silly String, get their hair spray-painted crazy colors, get slimed and kiss a pony. As a reward for selling 300 "golden tickets," students got to watch principal Karen White and teacher Karen Waters sumo wrestle. PTA leaders said the festival proceeds would go toward improvements and needs at the school.

Also, teacher Paige Sciara got her face painted by students. Other teachers got pies in their faces, sprayed with Silly String, got their hair spray-painted crazy colors, got slimed and kissed a pony.
The festivities were all a precursor to the school’s fall festival Friday night. PTA leaders said the festival proceeds would go toward improvements and needs at the school.
