The Gardendale Police Department is investigating the robbery of a Mt. Olive service station Sunday morning.

According to police reports, the incident happened shortly before 6 a.m. at a Chevron station, located at 2251 Mt. Olive Road.

The man was reportedly armed with a metal pipe and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the store. No injuries were reported.

Police described the suspect as a white male. Police are reportedly using surveillance video to identify the man.
