LOCAL SPORTS: Addison’s Roberts named Athlete of the Week

Elijah Roberts showcased his various talents in last week’s 41-14 win over Vina.
The sophomore quarterback completed 12 of 13 passes for 180 yards and a pair of touchdowns (both to Kaden Dyson), racked up 61 rushing yards on just three carries and added two tackles to go along with an interception on defense.
He also converted two 2-point conversions through the air.
Over the past two games, Roberts has registered more than 500 all-purpose yards and accumulated 15 tackles for the Bulldogs.
He is The Times’ Athlete of the Week.

Tucker Malin, Good Hope: Had six catches for 152 yards and two touchdowns against Fayette County.
Hank Hudson, Good Hope: Had 10 tackles, three tackles for loss and a fumble recovery against Fayette County.
Landon Bagwell, Good Hope: Had nine tackles and one tackle for loss against Fayette County.
Carter Rutherford, Good Hope: Had three catches for 61 yards and a touchdown against Fayette County. Had five tackles and a forced fumble.
Sawyer Olinger, Holly Pond: Had 17 carries for 145 yards and three touchdowns against Fyffe.
Hayden Robinson, Vinemont: Had nine carries for 108 yards and two touchdowns against Oakman. Had two interceptions and a tackle on defense.
Kayden Henderson, Vinemont: Had 16 carries for 62 yards against Oakman. Had seven tackles on defense.
Brandon Johnson, Vinemont: Had eight tackles against Oakman.
Jake Hale, Vinemont: Had five tackles against Oakman.
Tucker Robinson, Vinemont: Had five tackles against Oakman.
Rush Sandlin, Vinemont: Had nine carries for 46 yards and a touchdown against Oakman.
