The state baseball playoffs have officially arrived.

Six teams in The Times’ coverage area — Addison, Cold Springs, Cullman, Fairview, Good Hope and Vinemont — will battle it out in first-round series beginning Thursday in hopes of keeping their championship hopes alive.

Addison, Cullman and Vinemont will host after winning their respective area titles, while Cold Springs, Fairview and Good Hope will hit the road.
