Students in Cullman City Schools are celebrating Read Across America Week, with themed days and reading-focused initiatives across dozens of classrooms. Tonya Trammell’s kindergarten class at Cullman City Primary School celebrated by reading some Dr. Seuss classics, including books like Green Eggs and Ham.

The Read Across America initiative, which coincides with Dr. Seuss’ March 2 birthday, is a week-long event encouraging students across the country to take time to read a book and learn something new.
