Crane Hill’s Cameron Wright nominated for U.S. Military Academy

Crane Hill’s Cameron Wright has received a nomination to the United States Military Academy (West Point). Wright attends the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering. She is the daughter of Peggy Lee Wright. Congressman Robert Aderholt nominated Wright.
Richard “James” Hyche, who attends Arab High School, also received a nomination to West Point. He is the son of Jason and Brandy Hyche.
Other area residents have also been recognized for academics.
Allen Jiang of Cullman made the Dean’s List for the Fall 2024 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester.
Brooks Stephenson of Bremen, graduated from Troy University during the Fall Semester/Term 2 of the 2024-25 academic year.
Kristin Jarvis of Blountsville, earned a Bachelor of Science Magna Cum Laude in Accounting from University of Maryland Global Campus in fall 2024.
