Hirsbrunner – Hubel wedding

Laura Elise Hubel and Timothy Dale Hirsbrunner were united in marriage August 14, 2010, in a double ring ceremony at Third Avenue Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky, with the Rev. Samuel Crosby officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Linda Hubel of Duncanville, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Dorothy Bendure Hubel and the late Raoul R. Hubel of Detroit, Michigan, Edna Staggs Blackburn of Cedar Hill, Texas, and the late James E. Blackburn of Bushnell, Florida. She is a 2003 graduate of Duncanville High School, a 2006 graduate of Asbury University, and is currently a graduate student in the College of Social Work at the University of Kentucky.
The groom is the son of Don and Holly Hirsbrunner of Cullman. He is the grandson of Geneva Hirsbrunner and the late James D. Hirsbunner of Columbia, Tennessee, and the late J. O. and Helen Hendrix of Greeneville, Tennessee. He is a 2003 graduate of Cullman High School, a 2007 graduate of the University of Alabama Huntsville, and is currently a divinity student at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
Wedding music was provided by the bride’s cousin, Ginger Holland, pianist, and by Don and Becca Hirsbrunner, the groom’s father and sister, who sang “The Prayer” as a duet. Congregational singing of “Great is Thy Faithfulness” and “In Christ Alone” was led by Justin Leighty. Favorite scriptures were read by Chuck Anderson and Svitlana Rozsokha.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Marisa wedding gown with beaded French Alencon lace, a chapel train, and a cap-sleeved lace bolero. A pearl-beaded comb held her fingertip veil of tulle edged with satin. Bridal attendants, Alicia Lewellen, Diana Ball, Allyson Johnson, and Alie Nelson, wore satin teal cocktail dresses. The bride and her attendants carried bouquets of hydrangeas and roses.
Groomsmen were Samuel Gantt, Kevin Chen, Adam Wilson, and David Snyder. Ushers were the bride’s brothers, Jonathan, Joel, Benjamin, and Stephen Hubel.
The couple resides in Louisville, Kentucky.
