‘Spring Under the Stars’ concert set for April 25 at Wallace State Community College

Wallace State Community College’s Fine and Performing Arts Programs will host the fourth annual Spring Under the Stars concert April 25 at 6:30 p.m. in front of the Burrow Center for the Fine and Performing Arts.

Spring Under the Stars will feature performances by all Fine and Performing Arts programs including the Jazz Band, Concert Band, Concert Choir, Wallace State Singers, Allegro Dance Theatre, Percussion Ensemble and Theatre. Some of the highlights will include performances from the Wallace State Singers “That 70s Show” and the Wallace State Theatre’s “The Lightning Thief.”

Admission to Spring Under the Stars is free, but spectators should bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Bring along your appetite also, as food trucks including Augusta’s, Farmhouse Coffee Co., The Street Kitchen and Frios Gourmet Pops will be on hand to offer refreshments.

In the event of rain, the concert will be moved inside the Burrow Center.

  • WSCC Jazz Band at the Corner Jazz Festival on Thursday, May 2.
  • Album Release for Director of Wallace State vocal ensembles Tiffany Richter at the Burrow Center on Friday, May 3.
