Fairview debuted at No. 9 in Class 5A when the Alabama Sports Writers Association (ASWA) released its preseason high school football rankings earlier this month.
The Aggies finished 9-2 in 2023 and open this season with a road game at Springville on Aug. 30. They’ll also host Class 2A No. 1 Pisgah for a jamboree on Aug. 23.
Addison, meanwhile, was among three teams to receive votes in Class 1A. The Bulldogs crafted an 8-3 mark last season.
