Winemaking program Nov. 14 at Agriplex

Crafty and handy ideas are fermenting in November at the North Alabama Agriplex, where adults can sign up for a learning opportunity on how to make homemade wine. On Thursday, Nov. 14, Goat Island Brewmaster Matthew Schumacher will lead a beginner’s session (for ages 21 and older) to help aspiring local winemakers take their first steps toward turning simple fruit into something more.
November’s winemaking course is only part of the full slate of programs for all ages at the Agriplex, where children can take part in a class that’s devoted to the cowboy life or hone their observational eye in a course that explores watercolor journaling.
All Agriplex programs require advance registration. Visit the nonprofit’s website at agriplex.org to browse a full slate of learning opportunities and register for the course (or courses) that you plan to attend.
