FAIRVIEW — The Aggies are region champions once again.
Fifth-ranked Fairview scored early and often on Friday night, earning a 48-21 win over Priceville to improve to 6-0 (5-0 in Class 5A, Region 7) and clinch the program’s first region title since 2019.
Jace Stevens helped his team race out to a 14-0 lead less than four minutes into the game following a 5-yard touchdown scamper and 30-yard pick-six on the second snap of Priceville’s opening possession.
Jake Harper notched two first-half touchdown runs and Kolt Redding provided a pair of touchdown passes to Conner Scott and Zayden Cruce, respectively, as Fairview entered halftime ahead 41-7.
Harper added his third touchdown of the game in the third quarter to cap the scoring for the Aggies, who were able to play numerous young players during the second half.
Fairview hosts Sardis next week in a non-region clash.
