Kolt Redding threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Blake Rickard, Zayden Cruce caught the subsequent 2-point toss and Fairview downed Russellville 50-49 in three overtimes on Friday night to improve to 5-0 overall and 4-0 in Class 5A, Region 7 play. 

Jake Harper (two), Carson Jones (one) and Redding (one) each had first-half scoring runs. Redding also threw another touchdown pass to Conner Scott as the teams entered the first extra period tied at 35. 

Harper added his third rushing score of the game in the first overtime, but Russellville matched it. Neither team scored in the second overtime as the Aggies got a defensive stop but had a potential game-winning field goal blocked. 

Fairview then responded to a Golden Tigers touchdown with two clutch plays to knock off the home team.

Redding completed 8 of 10 passes for 85 yards. He added 92 rushing yards on 16 carries. Harper had 144 yards on 21 carries.

The Aggies host Priceville next week.
