City parks facilities to close until April 6; walking trails to remain open

In an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Cullman Parks, Recreation, & Sports Tourism will close the following facilities effective Monday, March 16 at 5 p.m. until April 6:
• Cullman Wellness and Aquatic Center
• Cullman Gymnastics and Cheer Academy
• Donald E. Green Active Adult Center (closed effective immediately)
• All organized activities at Heritage Park (Baseball, Softball, Soccer, etc.)
• Indoor Archery Range
• Central Office at City Hall
• Festhalle Farmers Market
• Cross Creek Golf Course will remain open for individual play
• All walking trails will remain open (Duck River, Hurricane Creek Park. etc)
This time will be used to do a deep clean and sanitize facilities.
Offices will remain open and be available to receive phone calls and emails. With the situation constantly evolving, responses will continuously evolve as well.
