In the midst of dealing with a flood of questions and information about the novel coronavirus, Cullman Regional Hospital had to respond to an actual flood Monday night when a steam pipe burst on a unit on the third floor. The hospital moved patients from the med/surgical unit to another floor.
Lindsey Dossey, vice president of Communications and Marketing, said the incident happened around 6:30-7 p.m. Monday. “Thankfully, no one was hurt and we hope to have the unit operational in a week,” she said. She didn’t know how many patients had to be relocated.
