- Triumphant Quartet singer Eric Bennett, a West Point native, shares a moment with longtime friend Jolanda Hutson, the executive director of Cullman’s Good Samaritan Health Clinic during the 2019 Caring for Cullman concert.
Local fans of Gospel music didn’t disappoint Tuesday, filling the seats at Northbrook Baptist Church to enjoy an evening of family-friendly entertainment for a good cause.
Triumphant Quartet, an award-winning Southern Gospel group with Cullman County ties, headlined the 4th annual Caring for Cullman benefit concert at Northbrook, raising money for Cullman’s Good Samaritan Health Clinic — the area’s sole provider of basic medical care to indigent patients who lack health insurance.
Reconnecting with old friends out front before the concert’s start time, Triumphant bass singer and West Point native Eric Bennett shared hugs and traded memories with local guests. “It’s good to be home again in Cullman,” said Bennett. “We’re always happy to come back to help support the work that Good Samaritan does for this community.”
