Fairview’s volleyball team downed DAR (25-16, 25-17, 25-16) and Wilson (24-26, 25-22, 27-25, 25-20) at the North Super Regional Tournament in Huntsville on Thursday to advance to the state tournament for the second consecutive season.

The Lady Aggies (49-17) will play two matches on Friday to determine their seed next week.

Holly Pond downed J.B. Pennington (24-26, 25-13, 25-16, 25-10) in the opening round before falling to No. 3 Geraldine (25-9, 25-7, 25-23) at the North Super Regional Tournament.

Vinemont, meanwhile, saw its season come to a close on Thursday as well.

Susan Moore eliminated the Lady Eagles (28-18) in four sets (21-25, 25-10, 25-16, 25-22).
