Gardendale Police Lt. Scott Banks said the department was still investigating the source of the threat. It is a serious crime to create a bomb threat, even if there is no danger to the public, costing the store revenue, frightening employees and customers, inconveniencing customers and tying up emergency services.
He asks that anyone with information on the incident, should contact the police department at 631-8787.
