(UPDATE) The work on I-65 in Cullman County scheduled for Wednesday night and Thursday has been canceled and will be rescheduled.

The Alabama Department of Transportation is advising motorists that there will be nighttime, single-lane closures on Interstate 65 northbound, north of Exit 291 (Alabama 91 near Colony) in Cullman County beginning around 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, for concrete placement.

On Thursday, March 28, asphalt repairs will be made between the Blount County line and Exit 305 (County Road 222 in Good Hope). Motorists are advised to expect single-lane closures northbound and southbound during the day.
