Allen Mathis

The Rotary Club of North Jefferson hosted Allen Mathis as its weekly speaker.

Mathis is the grandson of Herbert J. Taylor, who created the four-way test the international club uses as its guiding principal. Mathis spoke in character as his grandfather to describe how the test originated.

The test asks members to always consider: 1) Is it the truth? 2) Is it fair to all concerned? 3) Will it build goodwill and better friendships? 4) Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
